Routine Maintenance
The Council conducts a routine maintenance program for local roads, footpaths, stormwater drainage systems, parks and gardens, walking tracks and other Council infrastructure. However, if you see something that needs attention, but is not an emergency repair, please phone (03) 6264 0300 during business hours.
State Government Roads
The State Government, through the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources, controls and maintains the Huon and Channel Highways and other roads within the Huon Valley municipal area. For information concerning these roads, contact 1300 135 513.
Local Roads and Footpaths
The Council is responsible for the construction and maintenance of local roads, bridges, walking tracks, footpaths and Council parking areas not listed under State Government controlled roads.

Street Lights
Street lights are maintained by Aurora. To report a light which is damaged or not working phone the Council on (03) 6264 0300 or Aurora on 13 2004.
Driveway Access
Property owners are responsible for providing and maintaining property access driveways. This includes the kerb crossover. All works must be approved by the Council and constructed to Council standards. For information on standards and approvals please phone (03) 6264 0300.
